Mr Saransh Chaudhary, Executive Director & CEO, Venus Medicine Research Centre, participated in the panel discussion, “The Tricity’s Institution Economy Speakers,” at the Forbes India Leadership Awards 2026 – Leadership Circuit: Chandigarh Blueprint – Movers, Makers & Market Leaders, held in Chandigarh.

Venus Remedies Limited continues to contribute to important conversations shaping the future of innovation, industry, and healthcare in India. As the country moves toward a more knowledge-driven economy, building stronger connections between research, manufacturing, healthcare, academia, and enterprise will be essential to creating sustainable, globally competitive growth.

Exploring the Tricity’s Innovation Potential

The discussion brought together distinguished leaders from healthcare, academia and industry to explore the Tricity's evolving role as a centre for innovation, human capital and enterprise-led growth.

The conversation focused on the opportunities emerging from stronger regional ecosystems and the importance of creating environments where institutions, businesses and innovators can work together to unlock long-term economic and societal value.

Reflecting on India’s manufacturing potential, Mr Chaudhary also highlighted the need to strengthen both the depth and sophistication of manufacturing capabilities.

“The next century for India has to come from manufacturing depth, and the manufacturing depth has to translate into the mindset that is required for manufacturing. Because every time we speak and we compare ourselves to China, we have to compare at the level of the manufacturing depth that is there,” he stated.

The Tricity’s Growing Role in Life Sciences

The session also explored the growing potential of the Tricity in supporting India's expanding life sciences and innovation ecosystem. With its expanding academic institutions, healthcare infrastructure, research capabilities and entrepreneurial potential, the region is well positioned to contribute to the next phase of innovation-led growth.

Strengthening these connections can help nurture specialised talent, attract investment and create pathways that move scientific discoveries beyond laboratories and into meaningful healthcare applications.

Creating the Next Chapter of Growth

Platforms like these foster meaningful conversations on regional innovation, economic development and the future of Indian enterprise. The next chapter of India’s growth will not be written by individual institutions alone. It will be shaped through collaboration between industry, academia, healthcare, research organisations and policymakers.
