“Three days. 250+ meetings. 200+ companies. 80+ countries. One global platform for new opportunities.”

From reconnecting with long-standing partners to exploring opportunities in new markets, Venus Remedies made the most of its participation at the Convention on Pharmaceutical Ingredients, a.k.a. CPHI Milan 2026, held from October 6–8 in Italy.

An eight-member team from the International Business Division represented the company at one of the pharmaceutical industry's major global gatherings. Over three days, the team connected with industry leaders, existing partners, and potential collaborators from across the world.

Building Connections Across Borders

Over the three days, the Venus Remedies team conducted more than 250 business meetings with over 200 companies from more than 80 countries. The interactions brought opportunities to strengthen long-standing partnerships through discussions on product registrations, launches, and supply planning, while also opening doors to new business relationships across diverse markets.

The discussions reflected strong interest in both oncology injectables and anti-infective and critical-care portfolios. Products such as Meropenem, Aztreonam, Docetaxel, Bleomycin, Gemcitabine, Carboplatin, Imipenem/Cilastatin, Ceftriaxone, and Cisplatin featured prominently.

With companies seeking dependable pharmaceutical partners, Venus Remedies' EU-GMP manufacturing capabilities, EU marketing authorisations, and regulatory expertise were central to conversations.

Conversations Beyond Business

Some interactions offered particularly interesting possibilities.

The team engaged with an innovator developing a new antibiotic combination, welcomed a regulatory authority representative from the Middle East, and explored supply opportunities for an upcoming oncology centre in Central Asia.

New enquiries also emerged from Mongolia and several African countries, while discussions with Latin American and African partners focused on tender readiness and market expansion.

Europe accounted for approximately 43% of recorded meetings, followed by the Middle East and North Africa at around 20%.

Understanding Where the Industry Is Heading

Beyond individual business opportunities, CPHI Milan offered valuable insights into changing market expectations.

Partners increasingly viewed EU registrations and manufacturing credentials as important foundations for entering emerging markets. Interest also grew in EU market-entry services, including batch testing, QP release, and pharmacovigilance support.

Meanwhile, antimicrobial resistance continued to drive interest in newer antibiotics, while pricing pressures reinforced the importance of consistent quality and reliable supply.

Opportunities Across Continents

CPHI Milan 2026 reinforced Venus Remedies' position as a trusted partner in injectable pharmaceuticals. Beyond strengthening established relationships, the event generated new business leads, advanced EU market-entry discussions, and offered valuable insights into evolving market requirements and competitive dynamics.

As Venus Remedies continues to expand its international presence, such global platforms remain instrumental in building meaningful partnerships and creating new avenues for growth, innovation, and access to essential healthcare solutions.
